Our Double Stroller

Before Liam was born we debated whether or not we should purchase a double stroller to make life easier. Being that I walk Dylan to school everyday I thought it would be nice to have a double stroller to contain 2 kids at once. But, we decided against it. Mainly because they're so darn expensive and because as soon as we buy one Paige will decide she doesn't want to ride in the stroller anymore she wants to walk. So here's our solution...

We put Liam in the stroller all bundled up and Paige rides on the front. Luckily she doesn't weigh very much so it doesn't make it much harder to push. Plus she thinks it's a lot of fun to ride up front so she doesn't usually throw a fit about having to ride instead of walk.

Problem solved. For now at least.

Do you guys have a Once Upon a Child or anything nearby? Awhile back I found a double Chariot at the one in Ft. Collins for only $80 when they retail at REI for $5 or $600, Bridgette being the stroller queen trader extrordinaire bought it and then we sold our Double expedition on craigslist for $80 and broke even. Deals are out there. :) But glad your set up is working out for now.

Looks like that works! I often put four children in my triple stroller when I have an extra child of two around. Strollers are usually strong enough to take some extra weight.

Hey! We have that rocking chair and we've taken the activity bar off of it and our kids still love it! Great purchase!

Oops, I commented on the wrong post. Oh well - I was just going to add that ours has a different pattern.
