Happy Birthday Bill!

Today is Bill's birthday - but we did most of our celebrating yesterday being that he had church and meetings for most of today. We have a tradition in our family of letting the birthday person pick where they want to go out to eat. Bill chose this Thai place here in town. It took some convincing on Dylan's part, mainly because the only place he ever wants to eat is McDonald's. The food was awesome. So good, in fact, that Dylan told us he wants to go back there for his birthday dinner. Too funny!

Then we came home and had some friends over for cake and ice cream. The birthday person also gets to pick their favorite cake, which the other family members then get to make. Luckily, Bill's favorite is yellow cake with chocolate frosting - so easy and so good. Dylan and I decided to decorate Bill's cake with all his favorites:
