Welcome Home Dad!

Bill just returned from a 12 day trip to India. The kids and I were anxious and excited for him to come home.

Paige and Dylan waiting and watching.

We'll post pics from his trip soon! It was quite an amazing experience for him. We're glad he got to go but we were definitely ready for him to be home.

This and That

Here are just a few recent pictures of the kids.

Motherhood, A Summary

Bill is great at finding cards for special occasions. He always seems to find just the right one. But the Mother's Day card I got today is the best one yet.

(In case you can't quite read it, it says "Motherhood, A Summary")

Happy Mother's Day to all you wonderful mothers who have the hardest "job" there is.

Watering the Plants

Yesterday I noticed Paige making repeated trips from inside the house out to the back yard. Each time, she would come inside, get some water in a cup, then head back outside. After a few trips I asked her what she was doing. She said she was watering the plants. So I went out to look. Sure enough, she was watering the plants, just not the ones we want to grow. Here she is diligently watering the weeds by our back patio.

Such a helper!

Featured Artist

Dylan had his artwork chosen to be on display in the community art show last weekend. Here is his drawing of a clown using markers and weaving:

Here's my attempt to get him and his artwork in the same picture. He had to stand a few feet away so just try to ignore all the other artwork.

Liam's New Trick

Liam is now 7 months old. He hasn't quite mastered sitting on his own yet but he has learned a new skill. He pushes himself up on both arms and then scoots backwards. Here's a few shots of him in action.

Rock Hound

The other day Dylan was outside playing. When he came in he said he had found a special rock for me. I now have my very own heart-shaped rock.

I love it and put it on the kitchen window sill where I see it every day.
